venusmilk: Makes sense because he is a TERRIBLE writer…… NO HE IS GENIUS. His writing may not be super descriptive but its straight to the point and he can lay out an incredibly interwoven plot sort of the way Dickens did. but Dickens wrote much much more elaborately. Mostly because the more words he wrote the more he got paid. Palahnuik is kind of more like hey im going to just lay out all the facts for you and you do what you want with them.

I just don’t understand why it isn’t socially acceptable to stay in bed all day long and watch lame romantic comedies and drink coffee and read books in your underwear. Whoever established all these “get a job, be successful” conventions really needs a serious beating. I didn’t sign the terms and conditions for this shit.
